Mediation

property mediation servicesMediation is defined as a process whereby a mutual third person called a mediator acts to encourage and facilitate the resolution of a dispute between two or more parties. It is informal and non-adversarial processes with the objective of helping the disputing parties reach a mutually acceptable and voluntary agreement. Mediation is used in divorce cases in an effort to resolve issues involving child support, custody, alimony and property before going to court. It gives divorcing spouses a chance to resolve these issues on their own, or with their attorneys, rather than going to court and having the judge settle these issues for them.
